Just wondering what you guys are doing the day before we actually start this mad dash to 50k. Me... I'm relaxing and just having fun. Trying to live, cause we all know we all won't be but living dead this next month.

I'm skipping work, and playing Little Big Planet. :) Then I'm going to the kickoff party in Provo.

I have to work, but I'm getting off for the party.  I'm going to spend a little time with my characters, get their final opinion before I start, and yes, I do talk to fictional characters very often.

I'm working and doing a fun-raiser(intentionally misspelled) for the committee I'm President of at work.  Oh the joys.  Then going to the kick-off in Provo.

I'm volunteering at a campus Halloween Party, and will be there until about 3AM. Why did I do this on the night before Nanowrimo? Probably for more or less the same reason that I do Nanowrimo every year, regardless of what unrelated chaos has already ensued.

Took the kids to school, picked up one kid, worked on last-minute articles, did a couple loads of laundry, helped out at a 3rd-grade Halloween party, got kids suited up & fed (yes, in that order; I'm not always the brightest bulb, I guess), took them trick-or-treating, drove to Provo for an appointment, swung by Dragon's Keep and met some lovely people, went home and restrained my children, read stories and tucked them in, worked some more, goofed off on Facebook until midnight, then got off to a good start on my novel.

Scone, who is far too old to be up 'til 2 a.m.
