Write-in's

The one for Saturday. I just want to make sure I got the right library and where in the library we'll be meeting. I've never been to a write in!

The library in down town, the big one right? This is for SLC.

That's the one! Right by the Trax station, the big beautiful architecturally amazing library. I'll be there too!

Any idea where in the building we're meeting?

I remember Banai said it was... conference room A? I believe? Anyhow, I remember the directions-- take the stairs in the foyer (that's the place with the big sculpture hanging from the ceiling and all the shops, not the actual inside part of the library past the detectors). The stairs are on the east side of the library foyer. Go down those and to the left, I believe, and you should be able to find people just by peeking in rooms. (That's how I've done it before too, but I think Banai said in her post that it was to the left of the stairs.)

Is there anywhere to plug in laptops? Mine only lasts about an hour and a half :/

Usually people (the MLs, mostly) bring power strips and I seem to remember that there were a lot of outlets in the floor in the other conference room we used at the library last year. I'm totally sure you'll be able to find a place to plug in!

I'll bring my alphasmart just in case but thanks for the info! I hope I can find the room XD

I hope you found it! Last-minute I was not able to make it today. Growl. I'll have to come next Saturday.
